This may not be a list of entirely acurate accounts,
and there may be a lot of loose threads to opinions of authors,
but this list in itself is very enlightening and if any of the messages from or of Jesus
that are found here could set some people free from a type of imprisonment,
thats a blessing in itself.
The other stories then , they could also help in many ways of understanding.
Sure this list was made before the confirmation of the existance of at least
one King Arthur and Merlin and over 140 of their Knights, but that it is proven since,
that should temper some sckeptics but not the plotting of more of the false ones;
whether for fabled stories, or purposeful deception.

BOOK REVIEWS

Kolbrin Bible

Glenn Kimball: October 2004:

In recent days I have been involved in something wonderful. I had one of the good members of the list send me a copy of the Kolbrin Bible. I was floored. Let me describe it by suggesting that manuscript people, like myself, are like crime profilers. We hear echoes of documents that should exist and create scenarios in our minds where discoveries will be made. For example I have long heard about the existence of copies of the Alexandrian Library of Cleopatra that remain under Islamic control in Turkey . I have spoken with librarians that have copies of these texts, which have risked everything to let me know about what they have stored in secret vaults. Someday we may get a chance to see those manuscripts. It is my opinion from what has been told to me that they are guarded well at this point and still survive. Thank goodness that there are people who do not believe in book burning.

Now I have found what I think is perhaps the largest step I have taken in my life to date. It is the discovery of the manuscript that survived the fire in the Abbey of Glastonbury that was deliberately set to destroy this "Bronze Book of Britain".

I have long felt, as a manuscript profiler, that we would someday find the Bible of the Magi/Wisemen. This ancient fraternity from three thousand years before Jesus came to visit him at his birth. They obviously had some manuscripts.

I have hoped beyond hope that we would find the Bible of Joseph of Arimathea. He extended the existing universities in Britain and this is perhaps the only book that comes from that source. I have heard the prophecies that the Ten Lost Tribes would someday realize who they were and bring a Bible back with them. The Saxons, and others, came from the north to Britain and brought with them manuscripts and holy writings. The Kolbrin is the most likely candidate for each of these texts. Could there be any greater discovery in our day?

Many of you have asked me if I knew where the text of the Lost Ten Tribes might be. I have long told some of you that the book was right in front of our eyes and that someday we would find it. I now have a copy translated into English. I immediately contacted those who had published the copy in my possession. I have been in discussions with them for the publishing rights in America . I have made them an offer that will be hard to refuse. It has been in the hands of the secret society who has been responsible for its preservation for nine hundred years. The book itself has been secret for that long. There are at least three sources. I am contacting all of them at the same time. Perhaps the best source is still in the Islamic hands in a museum. We have people on the ground in that country trying to help us obtain a translation. However, unless I miss my guess it will take years to gain permission in this political environment to be allowed to publish this version. The other copies are terrific manuscripts translated from the charred parchments.

Meanwhile I am creating, as we speak, a series of CD projects that will take the many aspects of this document apart and explain each of them for you.

I fear that many of you will drown in a document like this without some help. It is like reading the Nag Hammadi for the first time. That is why we need these other supporting books which explain the texts. I will keep you informed. The first of the CD creations will deal with the Magi tales of the creation of the world and the "Watchers" mentioned in the Bible that were here before Adam and Eve. You must understand that this document, like every single other ancient text, has evolved over centuries. In this case the Kolbrin has evolved within a very different culture and time and might be perceived, as it has been many times in history, as a threat to what we believe about Christianity. Let me assure you that it does not.

It will help you understand. Each window we have on the life of the Savior and His teachings is like a revelation. The Kolbrin is not intended to be what I call an "Absolute" document. That is to say that it should not be considered the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help us God. However, it is precious beyond belief. It will send chills down your spine.

I have had the sensation that many of you have read a book or two about the British involvement in Christianity. However, you have let it go in one ear and out the other. We are now in a day when the quantity of different texts begin to support each other.

The Kolbrin, perhaps, is the glue that will bind them all together behind the scenes.

When I was young I knew that someday there would be a major library of sacred texts come out of Egypt itself, which happened with the discovery of the Nag Hammadi Texts. I first heard about these texts while they were still scattered around the world in different private hands. I spent a decade of my life pursuing that discovery and the men who were involved in bringing the library back together and translating the document. I was emotional when it was published in 1977. It has changed the world, though there are still major Christian religions who fight against its very existence.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/nag_hammadi_library.htm
It contained documents like the Gospel of Thomas.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/gospelofthom.htm
It contained sweet documents like the Gospel of Mary Magdalene.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/gospel_of_mary_magdalene.htm
and
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/gospels_of_mary.htm
Each interpretation was as informative as the original. It was like hearing the story retold from completely different perspectives. It is like seeing a very good movie. You can watch it over and over again and get something new each time. The main story was the same, but the view was completely different and meaningful in its own right. This discovery changed me profoundly. It was like passing through a door that I could not reopen and go back again.

It reminds me of the first time I read "He Walked the Americas "
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/he_walked_the_americas.htm
This was not a book written by a religion, though there are people who think that the author, L Taylor Hansen, was a Mormon apologist. She was not a member of the Mormon Church. She was a manuscript historian, like myself, who had gathered a collection of texts from the Americas and the Pacific Islands suggesting that maybe Jesus had sailed there on the boats, perhaps the merchant boats of Joseph of Arimathea.

If you want to expand your view on Jesus, this is one of the best there has ever been and a professor at Southern California University wrote it. That is a very different story that is commonly told among Mormon people of a resurrected appearance of Jesus in the Americas . These appearances of Jesus were the result of an ocean voyage to the Americas .

I had the overwhelming impression that there are hundreds of occasions when there are shared histories among many different disciplines and beliefs. How many times have we ignored precious texts because they appeared like they belonged to a specific religion? The Kolbrin certain falls into that category. The world at the time of the burning of the Abbey at Glastonbury could not allow Jesus and the Bible to be used by the Christian community of a so-called barbarian culture. How many people have lost their lives in preserving this text and others like it?

Thank goodness we live in our day when we don't have to worry about those kind of silly notions. If we don't want to be treated like children, we need to act like adults. Adults know that each of these texts is filtered through the eyes of a cultural perspective.

One needs to have eyes to see and ears to hear, in the words of Jesus.

He saw our day clearly.

When I found the "Drama of the Lost Disciples"
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/drama.htm
it was like the life of Jesus came alive for me. The stories I had been taught in church as a young boy suddenly expanded into a symphony of history. It is still the number one best read in my bookstore. I now have excellent copies from a stash in England , though you won't find it sold anywhere in America . If you wanted to change the live of someone for Christmas, this would be the perfect gift. Don't expect it will be available next Christmas. You have to be there to understand.

My CD on Melchizedek came out of that experience.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/audio_cd1.htm
I realized how the ancient prophets had played roles in Britain . Brit is not an English word it is Hebrew for Covenant. British, meaning the people of the covenant. A convenant people had visits from the prophets of the Old Testament. That couldn't have been more true than the writings in ancient Britain .

My last CD "AD: After the Death of Christ"
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/bodicea.htm
was another era in my life. There was a show on the History Channel last night chronicling the life of Bodicea, or Boudica. I nearly sobbed. They had missed the entire significance of the story. They missed the connection between the British tribes and Christianity, Jesus, Paul, Peter and the world of religion in our day. There wasn't a single mention of Jesus. Nothing could have been a larger violation of history. Their story on the television was the story from the perspective of Rome and not from the perspective of religion. The story of the values of these people is far more important than the story of an obscure war in history.

In the mean time you need to prepare yourself with some reading. Here is a new book that helps set the stage.

Irish Prince Hebrew Prophet.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/irish_prince_and_hebrew_prophet.htm
Jeremiah in Britain is a critical beginning. This has been the subject of my last two email messages. This a collection of the entire story.

There is another amazing book on the Rennes-le-Chateau discovery. It combines pictures and text that substantially help us to learn more about Mary Magdalene in that region as well.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/saunieres_model.htm

I recommend that for those of you who do not have the Untold Story of the Dead Sea Scrolls that this is also important because this discovery will be no more important in the future than the Kolbrin. In this case the process of the development of an ancient text is as important as the book sometimes.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/deadseascrolls.htm

Those of you who do not have a copy of "Magi" need one now.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/magi_uncovering.htm
How could you possibly understand the Kolbrin without this text?

Celt Druid and Culdee is also critical.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/celt.htm
The Culdee were the ones who left us the Kolbrin.

What I recommend is for those of you who need personal assistance with complete libraries on this subject, or on limited budgets, that you call me and I will help you. 1-888-904-9394.

We are on the edge of the discoveries of the century here. For those of you who believe that we are in those last prophesied days, now is the time to "bite the bullet" and get the background you need. This is especially true since you can use some of your Christmas budget in the process. I will let you know when this first CD on the Kolbrin is ready. It is coming within the next couple of weeks. There are many people who allow discovery to distance themselves from the traditions of their fathers. That would be a great error. You will find that in the end what I am doing will bring you full circle back to the traditions of your fathers and make them even more important. That is the secret. I feel like that is my job to keep you all from panic and chaos when the discoveries are made. This one will set you on fire for the rest of your life. Be patient. Perhaps the good Lord is requiring me to give it to you in pieces so that we can digest it along the way together. Don't let some unfounded tabloid reporter tell you that this is the Bible of the Aliens or something silly. You will hear every possible nonsensical interpretation. I will help you route it back to the original traditions. These books are like branches of a tree that came from the original roots a very long time ago. The branches don't always look like the roots. However, the branches are spectacular. This is the day of the fulfillment of prophecy. Isn't it wonderful? Glenn Kimball

ABRAHAM IN EGYPT

There is so much we still don't know about some of the most important facets and facts of our human/Soul lives. And what we have is found within many different philosophical and religious and historical settings, making it almost impossible to link it all....to make sense of it all.

We are fortunate to be living in a time of almost endless information. Some of it regurgitates the old myths and misinformation, but some of what has been hidden for centuries, is now being revealed....albeit, slowly. It does seem to be up to each one of us to make of the information what we can, based on our own intuition and research..

Today many old books....some lost for a long time....are being reprinted and new information is coming on-line. Glenn Kimball ( www.ancientmanuscripts.com )

has spent much of his life finding and bringing to market many important books that fill in some of the gaps in our knowledge, particularly, Biblical knowledge, both Old and New Testament.

I was grateful to have the following review to share with you. The above link will take you to where you can buy this book if it interests you.

'Abraham In Egypt '

By: Hugh Nibley

This is a collection of articles written by Hugh on the most controversial subject in Egyptology.

Scholars have, for centuries, refused to recognize the enormous contribution of Abraham to the entire history of Egypt . The Biblical Abraham is characterized as a visitor in the courts of Pharaoh, however the real Abraham left a religious legacy over the course of twenty dynasties which emerged as the religion of Ahkenaten, the religion of the ONE True God.

Ahkenaten built his personal city based on the exact dimensions of the Temple of Solomon before Solomon was born. The temple in Azum is an exact replica of Solomon's ancient Holy Place and lured people, like the Prophet Jeremiah, who was seeking a place to hide the Ark of the Covenant.

Scholars have used Abraham as an excuse for ignoring Biblical history. Hugh's detailed account makes that premise seem foolish. 'Abraham in Egypt ' is the evidence that the source of Egypt 's religion ties back in to the account of Abraham himself.

Those who would suggest that 'Jesus' is the anthropomorphic account of Osiris, Isis and Horus will be shocked to note that just the reverse is true.

More Book Reviews

In the spirit of this letter I want all of you who haven't gotten a copy of Moses and Ahkenaten to consider it now. Moses had influenced the pharaoh of Egypt to change the religion of an ancient culture back to that of the one God. http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/moses_and_akhenaten.htm
This author suggests that Moses and Ahkenaten were the same person. Though this is not correct, the comparison is amazing and the evidence is compelling. You don't have to own the beliefs of this man to get the wonderful message he presents.

Those of you who haven't gotten and read a copy of "Magi"
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/magi_uncovering.htm
Need to consider this book as a Christmas present for someone you love. It is totally amazing. The ancient Magi were rooted in their fraternity from Great Britain . Their society covered the globe and you should know about it and give it as a gift for someone you love.

For those of you who have listened to the world condemn the Gnostics you need to read the wonderful book "Gnostic Gospels" by Elaine Pagels.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/gnostic_gospels.htm
These were found on the banks of the Nile river in 1947 and contain one hundred times the words of Christ than are in our Bible. She teaches at Princeton and knows exactly what she is talking about.

Many of you have copies of the Nag Hammadi Texts http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/nag_hammadi_library.htm
But you haven't understood the language or the significance of the find. You need to understand this as proof of the life of Jesus. This pair of books is a wonderful gift for Christmas. One explains the other The reason that western Christianity hates the Gnostic Gospels is because of the twelfth verse of the Gospel of Thomas inside the Nag Hammadi texts. Jesus said that the surviving leader of the church following his death was James his brother and not Peter. Every scholar in the world knows that James was the head of the church in Jerusalem following the death of Jesus. How we ever assumed Peter was the head is an example of Christianities attempt to own the saga of Jesus rather than trying to understand him.

Copies of the Gospel of Thomas and a detailed explanation are available at: http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/gospelofthom.htm
I use my copy as a handbook for my business and personal life. The gift of the extra-biblical words of Jesus is the perfect gift for Christmas.

There still are those of you who haven't read " Holy Kingdom "
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/holy_kingdom.htm
This book will tell you the story of why Edward the First banned all the printing presses in Wales . England hides the best of its precious history. King Arthur wasn't a myth. He was the last one to see the resurrected Jesus before the dark ages sealed the heavens till our day. If you have someone who loves the real King Arthur this one is beyond wonderful. It is a reason to dance on Christmas.

If you want to understand the importance of King Arthur and his family ties to Jesus you need to read "Studies in Jeremiah:
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/study_in_jeremiah.htm
This one will tell you why Jeremiah was buried in Ireland and how the family of Jesus spent six hundred years before his birth in exile in England If you don't know this hidden story you should.

This is a tale no one wants you to know because it doesn't vindicate a particular religion. It exceeds the borders of what we know about Jesus. http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/did_our_lord.htm
This little book is famous for its accounts of Jesus in England and offers the proof.

Jesus traveled in his day. Western Christianity doesn't want you to know that because they can't control a Jesus that traveled. http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/buddaissa.htm
These are the accounts and writings of Jesus from his travels to the East This is famous in Buddhism who love and know Jesus well. It will make you dance a holiday jig to know that they understand him as well as we do.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/isle_of_iona.htm
Here is a new book on the list that tells the story of Jesus in Ireland . This one will go well with the new one coming form Great Britain . This is a WOW for those who have United Kingdom in their blood.
I also have copies of Israel-Britain that must be obtained over the phone It is a new book on this subject and will thrill you.

For those of you who want to know more about the very time the Bible was created you need a copy of the writings of Eusebius.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/eusebius.htm
These writings are over seventeen hundred years old and tell a story that is required at the university level for a degree in religious history. My daughter just received an A+ in her religious studies at the university because I had given her a copy of Eusebius years ago. She thought at the time that I was teaching her something weird and strange. When she showed the book to her professor he asked her who had given her such a precious gift. Eusebius tells us why we don't have more books in our bible.

The best of them all is "Lost Books of the Bible and Forgotten books of Eden "
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/lost_books_of_the_bible_and_the_.htm
These are a terrific selection of the missing texts. It includes the sixty pages of the oldest text in history…the book of Adam and Eve found in Egypt written in Aramaic. This is a hardback and a perfect gift for someone just beginning their religious training.

The book "Lions in the New Land " has been out of print for over a year.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/lions_in_the_new_land.htm
I am the only one who has copies to my knowledge. It is the best book in the country on the history of Britain as it relates to the coming of pre-Columbian visitors from England to America . It is not only a good book, but a great read.

Lastly I have eight copies from England of a book called "From Eden to Exodus". You will never see a copy in this country. David Rohl writes this book and it is jammed packed with the evidence of the biblical tales. No Christian organization should be without it. It is the Bible of archeology and the proof the scholars ignore that would change their minds if they would sit long enough to understand. You will have to call me for this one.

August 2003

From Glenn Kimball more book reviews and comments. Again, I share this information because I believe it is so important to begin to understand our history, some of which is hidden and/or obscured. Or deliberately withheld by religious authority.

Melchizedek Audio CD

This CD was inspired by a lecture given by Glenn Kimball at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix in July 2003. Glenn suggested that Melchizedek was the second most important prophet in the Bible, second only to Jesus. Jesus is referred to in Hebrews as being in the fraternal priesthood order of Melchizedek. In those same verses Melchizedek was granted by God the power to survive death. This CD is dedicated to describing for the reader, what happened to Melchizedek both during his life and after the era where he survived death. It defines a total additional category of beings from the heavens that are neither Angels nor resurrected people. Glenn suggests that there is abundant evidence that Melchizedek may have been Merlin the Magician the mentor of King Arthur in the 6th Century. That claim on the surface may sound ridiculous to some, but you will be astounded at the evidence that survives connecting Merlin the Magician with Melchizedek the Prophet/King.

Enoch

The Book of Enoch or 1 Enoch Translated by R.H. Charles, D.Lit., D.D.

This is a translation by R. H. Charles from the Ethiopic Text with a complete analysis and notes.

Considered indispensable to students of both the Old and New Testaments in understanding the problems underlying the Bible prophecies.

In its present form the Book of Enoch is made up of various elements belonging to different dates and a diversity of authorship and more properly should be spoken of as "Books" of Enoch.

One part belongs to the earlier Book of Noah. The following is a small sampling of Mr. Charles' quite long and detailed Introduction:

'To describe in short compass the Book of Enoch is impossible. It comes from many writers and almost as many periods. It touches upon every subject that could have arisen in the ancient schools of the prophets, but naturally it deals with these subjects in an advanced stage of development. Nearly every religious idea appears in a variety of forms, and if these are studied in relation to their contexts and dates, we cannot fail to observe that in the age to which the Enoch literature belongs there is a movement everywhere, and nowhere dogmatic fixity and finality. And though at times the movement may be reactionary, yet the general trend is onward and upward. In fact the history of the development of the higher theology during the two centuries before the Christian era could not be written without the Book of Enoch. From what has already been said it is clear that no unity of time, authorship, or teaching is to be looked for. Indeed, certain considerable portions of the book belonged originally not to the Enoch literature at all, but to an earlier work, i. e. the Book of Noah, which probably exhibited in some degree the syncretism of the work into which it was subsequently incorporated. This Book of Noah clearly embraced chapters 6-11, 54-55, 60, 65-69, 106-107. . . . Conflicting views are advanced on the Messiah, the Messianic kingdom, the origin of sin, Sheol, the final judgment, the resurrection, and the nature of the future life. There is an elaborate angelology and demonology, and much space is devoted to the calendar and the heavenly bodies and their movements. Babylonian influences are here manifest and in a slight degree Greek. . . . The analysis and notes are an excellent addition to this work, enabling the reader to better understand the subject matter.'

The Amarna Letters

A little more than a century has passed since the discovery of the Amarna letters. At first virtually unique and so extraordinary that even their genuineness was seriously questioned, these letters over the years have gradually acquired context and perspective. As subsequent discoveries made clear, the Amarna letters reflect a cosmopolitan culture, a "cuneiform culture," that throughout most of the second millennium B.C. extended from the mountains to the east of Assyria and Babylonia, across the Fertile Crescent, over into Asia Minor .

Though seen now as only part of a much larger picture, the Amarna letters still remain documents of the highest importance and still form, as one cuneiformist once put it so enthusiastically, une des collections les plus precieuses du monde." This importance derives mainly from the rich evidence they provide for the social and political history of Syria and Palestine in the fourteenth century B.C. They may therefore, be read as a kind of preface to biblical history, and it is for this reason, above all, that they have been, and continue to be, the subject of the most diligent inquiry and reflection. Indeed, one can safely predict that as long as the Bible retains in our culture its unique importance, the Amarna letters will command the serious attention of historian and exegete.

Drama of the Lost Disciples

The Drama of the Lost Disciples by George F. Jowett.

It was Edmund Burke who wrote, 'People will not look forward to posterity who never look backward to their ancestors',

and it is certainly true to say that only a very real knowledge of what God has done for and through the British race in the days that are past can give confidence and courage with which to face the unknown in this era of crisis and tragedy.

This is one of the major reasons for my satisfaction and pleasure in the privilege accorded to me of introducing this most interesting and instructive book to all those who are concerned with facts, not fancies. So much rubbish has been written concerning Britain 's pagan past and so many attempts have been made to destroy our justifiable pride in the very real achievement of our race that we welcome unreservedly one more book devoted to the purpose of informing our people of the glorious Christian heritage that was bequeathed to us in the first four centuries.

Here the faith of Christ was firmly founded soon after the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord and here also the first Christian Church in all the world outside of Jerusalem was erected by the original disciple and followers of the Incarnate Word.

It is fashionable in these days for our leaders in Church and State to make the pilgrimage to Rome to seek economic security and ecclesiastical unity, but this book reminds us very forcibly that in those early days while the Roman Empire was still pagan, men braved the fury of the elements and the peril of the sword to journey to the Britannic Isles in order to proclaim the Gospel of love, light and liberty, and then as the Heralds of the Cross to bear it from Glastonbury and Iona, Bango and Lindisfarne, to the far places of the earth, for Britain, not Rome, was then the Lighthouse of Europe.

The author of this book, a Canadian of British birth, a man of many parts and varied talents, has put us in his debt by reminding us once again of our glorious privilege and solemn responsibility as God's servants and witnesses. He has obviously spent a great deal of time in travel and research in order to collect and collate the wealth of valuable material here presented to the reader. With a well-arranged bibliography the book contains treasures both new and old and should without doubt appeal to all those who love and value the truth concerning our illustrious past.

Observing all that God has wrought in the generations long ago, the reader will find faith strengthened and hope renewed for the future.

The Chalice & The Blade

By: Riane Eisler

This book tells a new story of our cultural origins. It shows that war and the "war of the sexes" are neither divinely nor biologically ordained. This book provides verification that a better future is possible and is in fact firmly rooted in a haunting drama of what actually happened in our past. By the second century A.D. Roman and Greeks had burned all the books written by and about women. The spiritual uniqueness of women had been obliterated in all existing dogmas, all the way to home life. Eisler proves that our history was a more gentle time which respected women for their rightful place in the heavens. Our world has opted for androgyny (or sexlessness) as the answer to sexist prejudice because they have forgotten the power of and the creation role that women uniquely played in the creation of the universe. Men will never substitute for or circumvent that place in the eternities.

June 2003

Glenn: After having the wonderful chance to speak to about a hundred of you in recent days, I am impressed by the fact that many still don't quite understand the larger picture motivating the events in the life of Jesus.

One can never understand Jesus and his movements without returning to the Prophet Jeremiah. Jeremiah, Daniel and Ezekiel were roughly contemporaries. Ezekiel was a visionary. Daniel wrote the definitive prophecy of the future, two thirds of which was sealed because it was so explicit. I have often told you that I avoid the concept of prophecy for the very reason Daniel was commanded to seal two thirds of his writings until our day. I hope one day to be involved in that discovery. Now wouldn't that be nice to find in the caves in Illinois ? As a side note one must understand that Daniel was not a young man when he was cast into the "Fiery Furnace". Most of the best scholars would suggest that he was in his eighties at the time.
Returning to Jeremiah he was commanded to remain unmarried by God. Surely the heavens knew that Jeremiah would be the "Traveling Prophet" and could not be a responsible family man. His tomb still remains in Ireland after his wide assortment of adventures. I have thought of the prophet Jeremiah a million times in the last twenty years, as I have remained single for a very similar reason.
All three of these prophets walked the streets of Jerusalem "crying" from the walls of the city that they should repent or Babylon would destroy them. Of course that is exactly what happened. If you want to hear the Babylonian side of that story you need only look at Missing Links of the Assyrian Tablets.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/missing_links_discovered_in_assy.htm

In this volume the great Joachim, the namesake for the same Joachim that was the grandfather of Jesus, is discussed openly in these ancient texts. This ancient Joachim is missing and the Babylonians were looking for him. The reality was that his son Zedikiah and his children were in power as the last of the monarchy of the House of David to rule over Israel . The dynasty of the House of David was no more after Zedikiah. However these men were missing. They were nowhere to be found. Where did they go? What where they doing? They were no longer in Jerusalem . The ancestors of Jesus were removed from Palestine completely. Jesus couldn't have been a poor carpenter's son in Galilee . His ancestors were far too well traveled for that.

Jeremiah was responsible for taking the reluctant King Zedikiah and his children from Jerusalem for their own safety. Since Jeremiah was also responsible for the Holy of Holies he was also in charge of the Arc of the Covenant. He took the Arc and the ancestors of Jesus in the same journey.

Seven years before the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonians Jeremiah took the Ark through the floor of the temple of Solomon in a system of trap doors connected with the famous two large stone pillars outside the temple, coincidentally named Joachim and Boaz. As the sand ran out of the heavy cornice of the pillars the floor in the Holy of Holies sank into the tunnels located beneath the temple mound. The Ark of the Covenant was temporarily stored in the cave with two mouths. This is where Vendyl Jones (the real Indiana Jones) has found a vile of holy anointing oil from that temporary temple site and a half a ton of Incense from the temple in his diggings. Certainly the Ark had been there at one time. The discovery of the "Copper Scroll" from Quran and the Dead Sea Scroll discovery (the real treasure map of the discovery) is clear evidence that this is the case. Vendyl is still looking for the Ark in that cave. However, that is not where the Ark remained. Vendyl can't let his view of history spill over the walls of geographic Palestine .

The Bible tells us that the Ark went to Ethiopia in the company of Jeremiah and Zedikiah in their flight into self-imposed exile. The reason the journey of Jeremiah to Ethiopia is multifold. First of all the Menelek, the son of Solomon and Sheba , had taken a part of the family of the "House of David" to Ethiopia . Zedikiah was family of the descendants of Menelek. That is why black Africa has a legitimate claim to the blood of the House of David.

Secondly, Ahkenaten had ruled Ethiopia during his day. Remember from the movie "The Ten Commandments" that Moses brought back a king's ransom of tribute from Ethiopia . Moses wasn't the first to rule Ethiopia . Ahkenaten was there first. Moses didn't so much conquer Ethiopia as remind them that they were kin of the great Moses. Ahkenaten had built a new city to house a great temple. It was the ancient city of Amarna . (today Azum) The reason for the new city was so that the wicked priests of Amune who had corrupted the fathers of Ahkenaten would have no claim on the temple in Amarna. This temple in Amarna was an exact replica of the temple Solomon built in Jerusalem . Certainly we should understand that Solomon and Ethiopia were tied together by blood. Their temples were identical.

Jeremiah presumed that he could take the Ark of the Covenant to Amarna and place it back into a temple exactly like the one from which it was taken. He thought this was his best chance to suitably locate the Ark. However, by the time Jeremiah had gotten to Amarna the wicked priests of Amune had destroyed the temple and corrupted the people all over again. They had turned the Egyptians away from the "one God" religion of the Hebrews. Jeremiah found himself in no better shape than he was in Jerusalem .

There are legends of the Ark of the Covenant in Ethiopia to this day. There are "Tabots" in Ethiopia . (Symbolic replicas for the Ark …hundreds of them). That is what the Ethiopian priest behind closed doors is keeping to this day. There are "Tabots" located in France, along the northern coast of Africa all the way to the ancient city of Carthage and as far west as Costa Rica. That is why there is a sacred/secret temple in Costa Rica that claims the Ark for itself. They don't have the Ark. They have a Tabot.

There is a new book not yet on the site that speaks of the connection of Pyramids and temples from the Middle East and America . The only way to get a copy of this book is to call me on the phone. 1-888-904-9394. This book speaks of the "Voyages" between the two continents. Now that is fascinating.. Are you beginning to understand why I operate a bookstore in addition to everything else I do?

Back to Jeremiah. Jeremiah couldn't possibly leave the Ark of the Covenant with the wicked priests of Amune in Amarna. He had to do something else. He remembered Moses at this point. Moses had not only been a Prince in Egypt and acquired influence in Africa . Moses had traveled to the land of the Magi during his day.

The Magi were what came to be called Druids. They had been the ones who had studied the stars and taught the art of Astronomy around the world. These Druids were not just astronomers, but they were "WISEMEN" who propagated the Messianic legends around the world. They had built a temple in Jerusalem in 2700 BC, the same century as the Pyramids were built. In fact the Pyramids were built as resurrection machines because of the building of the temple by the Druids in Jerusalem . The Pharaohs wanted to be resurrected and live forever as their respected neighbors, the Hebrews. That is why they mummified their bodies in preparation for resurrection. The legends of Isis, Osirus and Horus are the legends of the Messiah. (Virgin Birth, crucifixion and resurrection) Egypt didn't originate this idea. They took it from their own court "Wise men", the Druid Magi.

Now you know why I am extremely concerned that all of you learn about the Druids, though they have survived in our generation as a pagan religion. They were not pagan three thousand years before Jesus. They were not pagan at the time of Jesus. They were the Magi who came with a king's ransom in tribute to the birth of the Messiah. It was no accident that they found Jesus through the stars. They had built Stonehenge (earliest outdoor astronomy class in history).

Here is a no-brainer. Stonehenge and Druidism
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/stonehenge_and_druidism.htm

Moses had visited early England as part of his merchant travels and his education as a Prince in Egypt . He was guided there by the court magicians in his own Egyptian Court . They were Druids too. He knew about the Druid beliefs in the Messiah and therefore so did Jeremiah. Jeremiah had no choice. In his mind there was no other place to go.
The book "Study in Jeremiah"
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/study_in_jeremiah.htm
will tell you this story exactly as I am telling you. If you want this book it will take a while to get there. However, I would like to sign my name to your children in this book. It is my hope that they will pick up this book and perpetuate the history of Jesus and Jeremiah. I would like to plead with them to read and understand.

Jeremiah took the ancestors of Jesus (King Zedikiah and his sons and daughters) to England . They could not remain in Palestine . They had to leave the country permanently. That is why Saint Anna (grandmother of Jesus) was born in England . Their family had been there for six hundred years before Jesus was born. Nobody wants you to know this. They want to control the story of Jesus and confine it to Jerusalem so they don't have to deal with the politics of England . However, Helena (Mother of Constantine ) lived in England . Constantine was educated in England . Helena took all the artifacts she found back to England, though many of them gravitated to Constantinople after it was built and she was dead.

On the way to England Jeremiah had one last vision. I will let you find out about that in the book "Study in Jeremiah". The Ark never made it to England . God took the Ark Home. That is why the Celts had legends of the Amerigos. There is an extremely rare book about the legends of the Celts and the Americas . I have five copies coming from England . If you are a serious collector call me. These are not for everyone. It takes two months to get each one. The "Ark Bearers" or "Ark Nation" had the Ark. (Bearers and Nation translated from the word " Kansas ") There are magnificent surviving drawings from the natives on this issue. They are unmistakable. That is part of the reason that these natives wore turbans and pants with sleeved shirts in the Americas .

Therefore, Jeremiah returned to his congregation in Ireland and created the legends of ancient pre-Roman Judaism/Christianity in England that extended before the birth of Jesus. St. Morris found that one out the hard way. He was the black Roman General in 280 AD who started the code of Chivalry a couple hundred years before King Arthur. (King Arthur patterned the round table after St. Morris and his teachings). St. Morris found that when he was supposedly killing the "Barbarians" in France that he was really killing a people of his same faith. That is fact and history and not speculation. Where did these ancient Christians come from? Now you know why I am so concerned that you all understand temples. Jeremiah is the story of ancient temples and their importance. Here is the order you should read the books.

"Hiram Key"...the guys who built the temple of Solomon
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/hiramkey.htm
"Temples in the Cosmos"
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/templecosmos.htm
"Temples in the Ancient World"
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/templesancient.htm
If you don't know this material you will not understand the "Coming of the Messiah" for the second time.

The story of Jesus is the story of the travels of Jeremiah. Jesus wasn't the first to go to England .
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/did_our_lord.htm
His family had been there for six hundred years. When Joseph of Arimathea returned to England in the "Exodus of the Faithful" after the crucifixion, the "barbarian king of England " gave Joseph twelve hides of ground. (One hundred and sixty acres a hide). That book on the twelve hides is out of print. I have sent many of you copies as I could get them in the collectors market. If you want one I could try, but no guarantees. You must understand that a king of an island doesn't give a stranger two thousand acres of ground on an island. Joseph of Arimathea and his family were holy to these people. St. Anna (sister of Joseph of Arimathea) emerges as the greatest druid high priestess in history. That isn't because of her mysticism at all. Now you know the rest of the story. I hope you all begin to understand the saga of Jesus.
Jesus later went to Persia , Tibet and India . He probably sailed around the globe, but most of you would think that is preposterous. However, the Jesus character extends around the world during his mortal life. The Japanese still claim to have his tomb today, though to think that they have his tomb is absurd. The possible visit of Jesus to the descendants of "Japeth" (son of Noah…Japath/Japan…get it) in Japan is logical for a Messiah. The missing years are not missing. The only gap in the life of Jesus is between the ears of the scholars who refuse to look beyond their own prejudice to understand.

If you have been a member of the e-mail list for three or more years you remember the book " Holy Kingdom " (hardback) which became unavailable. I bought all the copies available in America and sold them over my web site. I have bought all the copies at the major warehouses in America again. Wilson and Blackett are the finest scholars in England on the subject of King Arthur. It is their contention that King Arthur II actually came to the Americas and was killed here. The "Stoke Dry" Cathedral in England has a fresco on the wall of King Arthur II being killed by Native American Indians in the Americas . This fresco is dated from the seventh century AD almost eight hundred years before Columbus . In addition Wilson and Blackett have on the cover of their book the sword, found in America that many scholars are now claiming is the sword of Constantine and probably the sword of King Arthur "Excalibur". Among the thousands on critically interesting points in this book are pictures of the actual Anvil Stone from which King Arthur legendarily withdrew the sword. It still clearly bears the mark of the sword in the stone. There are stone Pillars in England which speak of Joseph of Arimathea as he came to England via Egypt As you all know Joseph of Arimathea was born in Egypt , as stated in my first book "Hidden Stories of the Childhood of Jesus".
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/hidden_stories_of_the_childhood_.htm

The book also shows the role of St. Helena, mother of Constantine, the founder of Catholicism and Roman Caesar of the Nicene Counsel, in the preservation of religious artifacts in Great Britain . These are the artifacts that were likely confiscated by Edward, the first (Longshanks from "Braveheart" fame) and hidden. Edward threw all the Jews out of Wells (the reason the Prince of Wales is such a holy mystical title.) and banned the printing press there for two hundred years.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/holy_kingdom.htm

I have several new books that are not on the site. The most important one is "Moses and Ahkenaten".
This man believes that Moses and Ahkenaten are the same person. He makes critical historical points and his evidence of the connection between the two is unmistakable. He claims that the Hebrews took their religion from Egypt . He would because his religion is Islam. If you take the very same evidence and turn it around right you have perfect evidence that Ahkenaten changed the face of Egyptian religion out of respect for Moses and his faith. Ahkenaten didn't invent this sophisticated faith. He wasn't capable. Moses and the ancient prophets had it all along for more than two thousand years prior to Ahkenaten. The tie between the two is so magnificent it becomes one of my top five suggestions for the year. It is not available on the net. You will have to call me for this one.

Here is a list of the books. Remember that the first come first served. I will supply the books I have and back order all the rest. You may have to wait two weeks or so to get yours if you are not first.
1- Tempest and Exodus (evidence of the exodus on Egyptian Pylons and more)
2- Jesus the Last of the Pharaohs (though some of his conclusions are a far stretch, his evidence of Moses, Jesus, the three Marys' in the life of Jesus is excellent.
3- Tutankhamun the Exodus Conspiracy (one of my favorites for two reasons.. First it has the most excellent pictures of the Discovery of King Tut the son of the Hebre connected Ahkenaten. Secondly, it confirms in Hieroglyphics that Egypt declined after it desecrated the temples. Remember that Ahkenaten built the first temple that looked exactly like the temple of Solomon in Amarna. Now this guy's research is most compelling: Hardback)
4- Gods of Eden. He takes the archeology of the whole world to describe the creators of the world as depicted in Stone. You will recognize them from our Bible.
5- Before the Flood (the whole story of the evidence of the flood. This one book has more research on Noah's Ark than any one book I know. There are famous finds to obscure finds that make this book a must for the serious bible scholar. Hardback)

I have found a new source for the best book on "James the Brother of Jesus" left. It has been out of circulation and the warehouses haven't even taken orders for them, thinking it was out of print. However, I have ten copies left. This is an absolute must for the serious follower of Jesus. This is about his brother and the fact that James was in fact the head of the church when Jesus died.

Glenn: Here is a group of works worth taking a serious look at.

Akhenaton changed Egyptian religions back to their Judaic Christian origins for a generation. He was the one who built a temple in Amune exactly like the temple of Solomon ...dah, do we get it or not? This is a library edition with the cloth support on the spine. It is also limited and can't be purchased elsewhere.
Now where are you going to find any book dedicated to the Early life of Abraham. This one is gold embossed and a collectors item. It has an embossed picture of Abraham sitting in the Hindu cross legged position as depicted in temples in India on the cover. Never ever lend this book without collateral.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/Traditionsabraham.htm

Eusebius attended the Nicene Council. His history of these events is not only the best in history, but also critical to understanding our modern versions of Christianity. A letter written by Jesus is preserved in this volume.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/eusebius.htm

The greatest collection of ancient American manuscripts and legends on the "Prophet" who walked the Americas, healed the sick, arrived on a boat with great white sails (merchant vessel of Joseph of Arimathea), walked on the water and told the people that he must return to the "East" to finish his mission. L. Taylor Hansen isn't affiliated with a church and taught at Southern California University.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/he_walked_the_americas.htm

Josephus is quoted everywhere. His histories after the death of Jesus are famous.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/josephus.htm

Some of you have asked me about the best collections of extra-biblical texts. This is the best in the world on the "other" Old testament missing books. This two volume series acts as two books for the special.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/old_testament_pseudepigrapha_volume1.htm
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/old_testament_pseudepigrapha2.htm

The "Other Bible" is a wonderful collection of Old and New Testament books that were left out of the Bible. This is a classic and huge.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/other_bible.htm

Temples in the Cosmos is the most interesting 800 pages you will ever read on this prophetic topic. We will need to build this temple before the "great and dreadful day of the Lord". This is far more than you can imagine, or I can say written by a man who speaks seventeen languages and taught at Univ. of California at Berkeley .

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/templecosmos.htm

This book on temples has the best collection of different temples as well as the amazing rites that were performed in those temples. Some of those rites have been secret/sacred for five thousand years.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/templesancient.htm

Your collection on Abraham is not complete without "Abraham in Egypt ". It is the best book ever written on this topic and is so readable and amazing you will never be the same.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/abrahaminegypt.htm

Isaiah Decoded is the very best book in the world on the topic of Isaiah and his prophecies for modern times. This is a beautiful hardback book to look at and a life altering book to read. If you are into prophecy, Isaiah is the one.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/isaiah_decoded..htm
He also wrote this masterpiece on Isaiah. It is wonderfully written and far more than dialogue about the master prophet.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/literary_message_isaiah.htm

Bible History is also written by the same Edersheim and completes his historical research. It is the best book in the world on references from England (Larger library than the Vatican ) on the Old Testament.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/bible_history.htm

John was the only one of the apostles to be an eye witness to the crucifixion. This one is translated from the extremely rare Aramaic copy of the Bible. You can't get this one ever.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/aramaic_light_on_the_gospel_of_john.htm

Early America revisited is the story of the pre-Columbian visits to America from Black Africans. Wow is this one good.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/early_america_revisited.htm

Lost Books of the Bible shouldn't be confused with Lost Books of the Bible and Forgotten Books of Eden. It is another in the collection of missing texts. It is new to the site.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/lost_books_of_the_bible.htm

Glenn: HERE IS THE BEST ONE OF ALL.

These are the Lost books of Merlyn. NO KIDDING. Merlyn may have survived in our legends as a pagan magician. However, he was really a priestly believer in the Messiah. ou can tell from his teachings. This is a must. http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/lost_books_of_merlyn.htm

This book on the Magi is published in England and not commonly available here in America . You need to know that the Magi were Druids. The story of the Magi is a spectacular addition to the Story of Jesus.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/magi_uncovering.htm

Prehistoric London is a sleeper and inexpensive. It is the story of the Druids in London England in ancient times. I need to change the description of this book on the site. It is much much more than I have suggested. I will be listing this one again and again until you all get it. Get it now as one of the inexpensive additions to your three books.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/prehistoric_london.htm

There was trade in slaves to the Americas before Christopher Columbus ever got here. Sins of the Fathers tells that story. It is a tragic and masterful work about a forgotten and neglected era in America .

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/sins_of_the_father.htm

I am not one to speak of prophecy. However, this is the one that connects the Biblical with the Americas in prophecy. It is extremely inexpensive and a wonderful read. I use this new book as a resource for Biblical quotes that didn't quite hit me when I read the Bible.

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/usa_bible_prophecy.htm

When China ruled the Seas is the story of Pre-Columbian sailors from China coming to America . Wow what a tale. This one is the inexpensive version of a couple of books that were written on the topic. However, this one holds its own in every way. his is a must for those who love America .

http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/when_china_ruled_the_seas.htm

The Maya Cosmo Genesis 2012 has been out of print and hard to get. You need this one to know that the Maya people predicted the end of the world with their calendar. They certainly have my attention.

April 2003

Reviews: In his book Prehistoric London http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/prehistoric_london.htm
E. O. Gordon said that the title "Druid" in Welsh "Der Wuydd" is the compound of "dar", "Superior" and "gywdd" "Priest" or "Inspector".

The Irish "Der", a Druid is the "absolver and remitter of sins".

"The same root is found in the Persian "Duree," a good and holy man, and in Arabic "dere" a wise man.

The Latin equivalent for Druids is "Magi" and was used by the early Irish and Welsh writers.

I have long told you that there was a connection between the Druids and Jesus.

Remember that when Jeremiah fled from Jerusalem with the Arch of the Covenant and the family of King Zedikiah (Jesus' direct ancestors) that Jeremiah wound up in Great Britain . This safe Island was the place where nobility of many monarchies fled when they were exiled. It should be of no surprise that the wise men, "Magi", of Persia , Arabic and India descent were not only Druids, but were great followers of the messianic traditions.

Certainly the (idea of the) Messiah was well know in the Far East long before the birth of Jesus and they were the first to recognize Jesus long before His countrymen. For another complete description of this connection pick up the incredibly inexpensive copy of "Stonehenge and Druidism" http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/stonehenge_and_druidism.htm

It should be of little wonder then that following the death of Jesus, the Messiah, that the first above ground church was not built in Jerusalem, Rome or anywhere else but was built in great Britain.

This magnificent and holy congregation called themselves the "Culdee" http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/celt.htm

They had been practicing Christianity for three hundred years before the Romans converted their state religion to Christianity. Saint Patrick said, in his letter to the pope regarding Irish conversions, that these were the 'easiest conversions' in the world. They already had large portions of the Bible (some of which was not in possession of Rome itself), they were practicing baptism, the Eucharist and believed in Jesus as the Messiah.

These people patterned their festivals around the Jubilees of the ancient house of Israel . The Jubilees of the Jews today are not just holidays, but were designed to tell a story of their history.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/jubilees.htm

This particular story of their Jubilees is a part of the official Jewish Midrash and is a marvelous insight to accepted Hebrew history. I love it because it is one of our oldest ancient texts. Since today, Easter, is the day of Jubilee, I thought this most appropriate. The current Jewish Jubilees are the retelling of the story of multiple resurrections. (See Mathew 27: 52-53)

There were two Covenants God made with the House of Israel. One of them was with Judah who would be the Bloodline of the Messiah and the other was with Joseph, his brother, who was sold into Egypt . That story is thrilling.
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/judahs_sceptre.htm

A reviewer in the Baptist Messenger says, :"This is one of the most interesting volumes we have read in many a day...and we confess that the arguments produced by Mr. Allen seem to be unanswerable. It is more thrilling than Western fiction. The descriptions of the scarlet thread, the royal remnant, and the part played by Jeremiah in the preservation of the ruler for David's throne, will cause you to lose sleep rather than to go to bed without knowing the outcome."

That same "Scarlet Thread" is the topic for the discussion of the Connection between Jesus and the Royal Families of Europe and Asia , and is contained in the book "Jacob's Pillar"
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/jacob.htm

To this day that Stone of Jacob is sealed beneath the seat of the actual throne of the royalty of England .

The story of Easter and the Jubilees is not complete without the spectacular find of ancient tablets from the seventh century BC which tells the story of the Lost Tribes of Israel and their names as they were scattered all across Europe . The actual texts and their translations are contained in the book "Missing Links Discovered In Assyrian Tablets"
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/missing_links_discovered_in_assy.htm

This is for those of you who look forward to the return of the (so-called) Lost Tribes as a sign of the Second Coming of the Messiah who was crucified.

I have a treat beyond treats for those of you who are serious scholars and book collectors. There is a very rare leather bound, gold embossed copy of the Early Life of Abraham
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/Traditionsabraham.htm

On the cover conspicuously is a picture in gold of the great Buddha/Prophet Issa. Most of you know that Issa was Jesus. I can't think of a person outside Jesus who had more influence on all the major religions than our common great ancestor Abraham. This book contains the pure untreated texts from many cultures of the early years of Abraham.

The only ones who might not be interested in all this history are those of you who are still hunger after prophecy. I have two things for you that are just now available. The great master Gileadi has written both.
Isaiah Decoded
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/isaiah_decoded.htm
and
http://www.ancientmanuscripts.com/books/literary_message_isaiah.htm

Which clearly establishes the link between the Old Testament and Jesus, the Messiah of the New Testament.
May it tell you the story contained in the traditions of your fathers, as it has mine.

I hope you will enjoy reading the opinions of Glenn Kimball which are a little different from mine....and possibly different from the opinions of many of you who will read these pages....but we are all seeking Truth through many avenues.

Hopefully, some Truth is to be found in the history and philosophy that is contained in the less known and very interesting books Glenn gathers from all over the world particularly as they contain information about The One we know as Jesus and about his times and about the religions that have developed from His Teaching. I always hope that any new historical or Spiritual Information will take us out beyond the current views of our day and will broaden our horizons.

There is so much more to 'our story' than meets the eye.

Hiawatha

There are not too many certainties surrounding the known details of Hiawatha. He is thought to be a unifier, lawmaker, shaman, and statesman who lived around 1570. Some sources say that Hiawatha was born into the Mohawk people but sought refuge with the Onondagas after his own people rejected his teachings. Legend has it that Hiawatha tried in vain to unite the Iroquois tribes much to the discontent of a formidable and powerful chieftain named Wathatotarho, whom Hiawatha had defeated and in retaliation, had killed Hiawatha's daughter.
Although Hiawatha is largely described as an Iroquois legend, it is the general consensus that Hiawatha was indeed a real person who did have a hand in the formation of the Five Nations in what is now present day New York state. The Five Nations joined the five tribes (later six) of the region to halt inter-tribal feuding that had gone on for over a hundred years.
The legend tells of a great spirit who descended upon the Earth as a human to gather his children together in a place that only he knew where they could live in peace and harmony. He made five groups or tribes and named them all and gave each a special gift. The spirit was dismayed that the tribes could not live in peace and looked to Hiawatha for guidance in uniting the tribes. Hiawatha said that the tribes were to be as the fingers of a warrior's hand joined gripping the war club. The tribes agreed with his counsel and were each awarded a feather from a great mysterious bird, the spirit in a pure form. The tribesmen asked Hiawatha to lead the unified tribes and he refused but remarked that they should choose the wisest women in their tribes to be the future clan mothers and peacemakers, and to let them turn any strife arising among them into friendship. And to be wise enough to go to such women for advice when there are disputes.

Geronimo

Geronimo, given the birth name Goyathlay (one who yawns), was born in 1829 in Mexican territory where New Mexico now stands. Born a Bedonkohe Apache, Geronimo became a Net'na during his youth and into his manhood and given the name Geronimo reportedly by the Mexican soldiers. It is said he was given this name because if his daring feats and raiding successes to powers given to him by supernatural beings, including an alleged invulnerability to bullets. He was never a chief but he was a medicine man, a seer, and a spiritual and intellectual leader.
Geronimo's career was most definitely linked to his brother-in-law Juh, a Chirichua chief because Geronimo would often have to accompany Juh and speak for him due to a very severe speech impediment. Geronimo led the last American Indian fighting force formally to surrender to the United States. He became one of the most famous Native Americans and Apaches because he fought hard in the face of incredible odds and was the last to fall. To the pioneers and settlers of Arizona and New Mexico, he was a bloodthirsty murderer and was feared as much as he was revered for the first half of the century.
Geronimo was aggressive and courageous in the face of adversity, the very pinnacle of the values set forth by the Apache people. In 1858, Geronimo returned home from a trading excursion and found his wife, his mother and three young children murdered by Spanish troops. Geronimo became so hateful of the white people that he is said to have vowed to kill as many as possible. He was said to have gained his "powers" at this point through a vision. He was able to stave off the U.S. troops until he was tricked by Apaches working for the U.S. and was forced to move to a reservation and in 1886 he had finally surrendered. He died in 1909 as a prisoner of war and was buried at an Apache graveyard in Fort Sill.

Hokolesqua

Also known as Cornstalk

Cornstalk was a leader of the Shawnee Indians. He was born about 1720. His Indian name was variously pronounced as Hokolesqua, Colesqua and Keigh-tugh-qua and was freely translated to mean "blade of corn". Little is known about his early years. In all likelihood, he was born in Pennsylvania, the home of the Shawnee in the 1720s, and then moved to Ohio around 1730 with most of the Shawnee people.
During the French and Indian War, Cornstalk and the Shawnees sided with the French. They feared that English settlers would come rapidly into the Ohio Country if they were not stopped. Cornstalk led raiding parties into western Virginia, hoping to drive the English away from Shawnee territory. He also played an active part in Pontiac's Rebellion in 1763. Colonel Henry Bouquet defeated the Shawnee in 1764. To assure that the natives would sign a peace treaty ending the rebellion, Bouquet seized several hostages, including Cornstalk. The Shawnee agreed not to take up arms against the English again.
During the next decade, fighting did occur between the English and the Ohio natives. Cornstalk tried to peacefully ease the tensions, but the arrival of more white settlers placed him in the minority as to how to deal with the whites. By the spring of 1774, violence was constant. On May 3, 1774, a group of English colonists killed eleven Mingo Indians. At least two of them were relatives of Logan, a leader of the Mingos in the Ohio Country. Upon hearing of the murders, many Mingos and Shawnees demanded retribution. Some, like Cornstalk, urged conciliation. Cornstalk and most other Shawnee Indians promised to protect English fur traders in the Ohio Country from retaliatory attacks since the traders were innocent. Logan, however, was not easily convinced, and Shawnee and Mingo chiefs permitted him to attack the parties responsible for his family members' murders - British colonists living south of the Ohio River.
Logan took approximately two dozen warriors to exact revenge on the colonists. He did not go into Kentucky. Rather he traveled into western Pennsylvania. There, his followers killed thirteen settlers before returning back across the Ohio River. Captain John Connolly, commander of Fort Pitt, immediately prepared to attack the Ohio Country natives. John Murray, Lord Dunmore, the royal governor of Virginia, offered his colony's assistance. Dunmore hoped to prevent Pennsylvania's expansion into modern-day West Virginia and Kentucky. He believed the best way to do this was to place Virginia militiamen in these regions. He also hoped to benefit by opening these lands to white settlement.
In August 1774, Pennsylvania militia entered the Ohio Country and quickly destroyed seven Mingo villages, which the Indians had abandoned as the soldiers approached. At the same time, Lord Dunmore sent one thousand men to the Kanawha River in modern-day West Virginia to build a fort and attack the Shawnees. Cornstalk, who had experienced a change of heart about the white colonists as the soldiers invaded the Ohio Country, dispatched nearly one thousand Shawnee warriors to drive Dunmore's force from the region. The forces met on October 10, 1774, at what became known as the Battle of Point Pleasant. After several hours of intense fighting, the English drove Cornstalk's followers north of the Ohio River. Dunmore, with a separate force, followed the Shawnees across the river into the Ohio Country. Upon nearing the Shawnee villages on the Pickaway Plains, Dunmore stopped and asked that the Shawnees discuss a peace treaty with him. The Shawnees agreed, but while negotiations were under way, Colonel Andrew Lewis, and a detachment of Virginia militia that Dunmore had left behind at Point Pleasant, crossed the Ohio River and destroyed several Shawnee villages. Fearing that Dunmore intended to destroy them, the Shawnees immediately agreed to terms before more blood was shed.
Under this new treaty, the Shawnee Indians agreed to the terms of the Treaty of Fort Stanwix (1768). They had to give up ownership to all lands east and south of the Ohio River. This was the first time that natives that actually lived in the Ohio Country agreed to relinquish some of their land. In addition, the Shawnees promised to return all white captives and to no longer attack English colonists traveling down the Ohio River.
Cornstalk abided by this treaty for the rest of his life. Most Shawnees did not. By 1777, the Shawnee Indians again planned to drive the white settlers from the region. This time they did so at the urging of British soldiers who sought assistance in defeating the colonists in the American Revolution. Cornstalk and his son, Elinipsico, went to Point Pleasant, the site of an American fort, to warn the whites of the impending attack. The Americans took the natives hostage. Shortly thereafter, news reached Point Pleasant that, the Shawnee had ambushed and killed an American soldier. Seeking vengeance, the colonists killed Cornstalk, his son, and other natives in American custody.
Cornstalk illustrates the division of the Native Americans in the Ohio Country. Even within the same tribe, members could not agree on how to deal with white settlers moving into the area.

My wonder is really more about the Supreme Court Establishment's Integrity; i.e.: if one of them says I don't want to hear it, then none of them will say they will either; if any think "we should here this" then one of them should; all this concidering our best interests and not the political structures branched dominion leveraging. The math makes me wonder if anyone could seek a fair hearing when your asking it to be heard against or "about" one of the three branches, "by" one of the other three branches, of what the third and last branch has seeded; can this formula include a fair chance for anyone who is not part "of a branch" but a remedial thread? Thats why I feel The Constitution is the X-factor here. Isn't it? Obama himself is a Lawyer and the dynamics of the Presidential job seems to pose a fabric of obstacle by its nature on the President's weeknesses...just like everthing else about the U.S. would be by its competitor's. Obama could handle his case fine, I figure. The case, though it seems, is about the people, only in this case the Fifth Amendment appears but does what? Its my MATH, followed by case dockets. ITS ABOUT OUR POWERS The FORMULA is "2 Of 3" Branches are divided or multiplied by "1 of the 2" of 3. Does The 3rd have any participation? Or Did They? The issue is not only will the case be heard as its already been pushed up to this level, but a Part is an "X" factor; The Constitution. The "3" are our Branches of Government. Anti-Lobbying Restrictions Applicable to Community ServicesAdministration Grantees

The anti-lobbying rider in the Community Services Administration(CSA) appropriation act is broader than the generally applicablerestrictions on lobbying by executive officers, and prohibits recipientsof CSA grant funds from engaging in any activity designed to influencelegislation pending before Congress, including direct contacts withCongress.

Congress is under no obligation to make funds available to any agencyfor every authorized activity in any given fiscal year, and there shouldbe no presumption that it has done so.

The anti-lobbying statute, 18 U.S.C. Section 1913, and the general"publicity and propaganda" rider in the General GovernmentAppropriations Act, have been narrowly construed to prohibit the use offederal funds for "grassroots" lobbying, but not to prohibit a widerange of necessary communications between the Executive on the one hand, and Congress and the general public on the other. The considerationsthat underlie this narrow construction are irrelevant to a prohibitionagainst lobbying by private persons receiving federal grants andcontracts.

Statements made by individual legislators and committees after theenactment of legislation carry little weight in statutoryinterpretation, and are not a sufficient basis for altering a conclusionrequired by the plain meaning of the statutory language.

MEMORANDUM OPINION FOR THE COUNSEL TO THE DIRECTOR, OFFICE OFMANAGEMENT AND BUDGET

On January 19, 1981, the Director of the Community ServicesAdministration (CSA) published in the Federal Register an interpretiveruling by the CSA General Counsel discussing the legal effect of an"anti-lobbying" rider that applies to CSA appropriations. See 46 Fed.Reg. 4919. The history and language of the rider are set out in themargin. /1/ In his ruling, the CSA General Counsel concluded that therider, in its application to CSA grantees, imposes anti-lobbyingrestrictions that are no more stringent than those imposed uponexecutive officers and employees by 18 U.S.C. Section 1913 /2/ and bythe traditional "publicity and propaganda" rider contained in theTreasury, Postal Service, and General Government Appropriations Act./3/ In reliance upon that legal conclusion, the Director of CSA "waived"certain anti-lobbying restrictions contained in existing CSA grants. Those restrictions were apparently based upon an older, more stringentinterpretation of the rider. You have asked whether, in the opinion ofthis Office, the conclusions reached by the General Counsel were legallycorrect.

I.

The CSA rider imposes two different kinds of restrictions on the useof appropriated funds. The first, set forth in the first sentence of therider, prohibits the use of funds "for publicity and propagandapurposes" or for the preparation or use of any "kit, pamphlet, booklet, publication, radio, television, or film presentation designed to supportor defeat legislation pending before Congress, except in presentation toCongress itself." This language is similar to the language of thetraditional "publicity and propaganda" rider contained in the GeneralAppropriations Act. Unlike the traditional rider, however, the CSA ridercatalogs the kinds of materials and "presentations" for whichappropriated funds may not be expended (kits, pamphlets, etc.), and itauthorizes at least two kinds of expenditures. It expressly permitsexpenditures for the maintenance of "normal and recognizedexecutive-legislative relationships," and it seems to contemplate thatfunds may be expended for the preparation of kits, pamphlets, and other"presentations" that are made directly to Congress itself.

The second restriction is set out in the second sentence of therider. Unlike the first, it applies only to persons who receiveappropriated funds under government grants or contracts. The secondsentence states flatly that "(n)o part of any appropriation contained inthis Act shall be used to pay the salary or expenses of any grant orcontract recipient or agent acting for such recipient to engage in anyactivity designed to influence legislation or appropriations pendingbefore Congress." Because this language forbids the payment of expensesfor "any activity" designed to influence legislation pending beforeCongress, it is far broader than the language of the traditional"publicity and propaganda" rider. Moreover, because it applies expresslyto grantees and contractors and makes no express provision for directcontacts with Congress, it is quite unlike the language of the"anti-lobbying" statute, 18 U.S.C. Section 1913.

I don't know if any of the cases involving the Supreme Court and this years (2008) election will change or add to the following result I picked up on the Cornell Univesity ""Search "LII" "" KEYWORDING "PRESIDENT" and clicking onto the results found under "Elections": election law: an overview Citizens make choices by voting in elections. Two types of elections exist: general elections and special elections. A general election occurs at a regularly scheduled interval as mandated by law. A special election would be held when something arises that does not arise on a regular basis or routine. For instance, if an elected-office suddenly becomes vacant or a legislature wants to put a referendum before the voters, then they can use a special election. The electoral process ensures that no leader can take control for an extended amount of time without forcing the elected-official to answer to the will of the people. Nevertheless, government must play an active role in structuring elections and the electoral process. Consequently, individual states carry out the electoral process by following their own state laws. Sections 2 and 4 of Article I of the U.S. Constitution provide states the right to choose their own Representatives and Senators for the United States Congress. The 17th Amendment, however, mandates that the people directly elect the senators, and explicitly bars state legislatures from choosing the state's U.S. Senators. Presidential Elections: The Electoral College In Presidential elections, the people of the respective states vote for a Presidential candidate by choosing that candidate's slate of Electors. See Section 1 of Article II of the U.S. Constitution. After the state's citizens have chosen a slate of Electors, the Electors then formally elect the President and Vice-President by casting their respective votes. When all states' slates of Electors arrive to cast their votes, the aggregate group makes up that which has come to be known as "the Electoral College." The Office of the Federal Register coordinates the Electoral College. Comprised of 538 Electors, the number of total votes equals the aggregate number of Representatives and Senators that currently make up Congress. The number of Electors in a given state's slate equals its number of U.S. Representatives plus two. The number of Representatives that a state has is determined by considering the state's population in proportion to all other states. Accordingly, each state receives a proportional number of Representatives. The government takes the national census every ten years to determine each state's population. When this occurs, a state potentially can gain or lose Congressmen, which affect the number of Electors, known as electoral votes, that the state will have at the Electoral College. Of the 50 states, forty-eight have a "winner-take-all" system. Washington D.C. follows the same system. A winner-take-all system assigns that state's entire slate of Electors to the candidate who won the popular vote, regardless of how close the popular vote in the state actually was. Maine and Nebraska use different systems in which they divide their states into districts and assign one electoral vote per district. The Presidential candidate who wins a particular district receives that district's electoral vote. Under this system, Maine and Nebraska could potentially split their electoral votes between candidates, although no Presidential election has ever witnessed either state splitting. No federal law exists that binds Electors to vote for a certain candidate. However, twenty-six states have developed laws for this purpose. After each state has submitted their Electors' votes, the votes are counted and a President and Vice-President are named. Usually, the Electoral College emerges with a winner identical to the U.S. popular vote. However, in 1824, 1876, 1888, and 2000, the Electoral College winner lost the popular vote. Congressional Elections States may individually decide how to carry out their elections for Representatives, Senators and electors. Each state differs in structure, with most assigning administrative offices the task of running elections. States also differ on rules concerning when, where and how citizens may vote (see Congressional Districts). While the people of the respective states have always directly elected Representatives, most individual state legislatures chose the U.S. Senators that would represent that state until the ratification of the 17th Amendment in 1913. A product of the Progressive Era's call for more democracy, the 17th Amendment gave citizens more influence over the federal government. Changes in Election Law While Amendments to the U.S. Constitution are rare, seven of the twenty-seven Amendments that have passed deal with altering the process of electing the United States Federal Government. The 12th Amendment clarifies that each Elector of the Electoral College must cast two votes - one for President and one for Vice President. The 15th Amendment disallows abridging the right to vote on the basis of race, and the 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote. The 17th Amendment gives the people the right to directly elect their U.S. Senators. The 23rd Amendment granted electoral votes to Washington D.C. The 24th Amendment eliminated Poll Taxes, and the 26th Amendment lowered the voting age to 18. Recently-passed federal statutes have created a means for military personnel and overseas citizens to vote and have aided the elderly and disabled citizens' ability to vote. In 1993 Congress passed the "motor voter" law, which enables citizens to register to vote when they apply for driver's licenses. Some states have recently begun adopting voter identification laws as well in an effort to combat voter fraud. These laws require voters to present identification when they arrive at the polling location to vote. Many felt that Indiana had the most stringent requirement because it required voters to present photo identification. Because some felt that the statute disproportionately burdened the elderly and the minorities, the statute was challenged and went before the U.S. Supreme Court in Crawford v. Marion (07-21). The Supreme Court, however, upheld the law. Campaign Reform In 1971 Congress passed the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) to closely regulate federal elections. The law increased necessary disclosure of federal campaign contributions and created the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) to administer federal elections. In 1979 the FEC permitted political parties to spend unlimited amounts of hard money on certain activities, and soft money went unregulated by the FEC. Hard money refers to funding donated directly to a campaign or political party, whereas soft money refers to funding contributed to organizations, often known as 527s, that advocate issues and indirectly advocate a candidate, without specifically advocating for the election or defeat of a particular candidate. Following the law's passage, the U.S. Supreme Court took up the law's constitutionality in Buckley v. Valeo, 424 U.S. 1 (1976), a landmark decision concerning the interplay between campaign regulations and First Amendment rights. In Buckley the Supreme Court ruled that the FEC could regulate and limit donations to campaigns but could not cap the amount of money that a political campaign could spend because doing so violates the First Amendment. Buckley also held that the FEC could not constitutionally regulate soft money. Over the next three decades, concerns with the increasing costs of conducting a political campaign did not subside, and the popularity of soft money drove much of this concern. In accordance with this concern, Congress passed the McCain-Feingold (Bipartisan Campaign Reform) Act of 2002 (BCRA). The BCRA amended the FECA to add a provision, which disallowed federal candidates from using corporate and union funding to launch television ads on satellite or cable within 30 days of a primary and 60 days of a general election. A second amendment prohibited candidates and political parties at both the national and state levels from spending soft money on federal elections. Immediately after the President signed the law, members of the U.S. Congress challenged the law's constitutionality before the U.S. Supreme Court. In McConnell v. FEC, 540 U.S. 93 (2003), the Court upheld the Act's key provisions. However, with two new justices on the bench in 2006, the Supreme Court reengaged the campaign finance debate, striking down a Vermont law because the low campaign expenditure ceiling it implemented was disproportionate to the goal it advanced. See Randall v. Sorrell, 548 U.S. 230 (2006). Then, in 2007 the Supreme Court handed down a landmark decision in FEC v. Wisconsin Right to Life. 551 U.S. ___. As it applied to Wisconsin Right to Life, the Court struck down the portion of the BCRA that prohibited organizations from running issue ads within a certain number of days of the election because the provision restricted political speech and therefore violated the First Amendment rights of the organization. The Supreme Court also expounded on the BCRA's provision known as "the Millionaire's Amendment" in the 2008 case of Davis v. FEC (07-320). The Millionaire's Amendment only affected candidates who had spent in excess of $350,000 in personal funds on their own campaign. The BCRA permitted the opponents of these candidates to receive triple the amount of personal contributions typically allowed and permitted the opponents to accept coordinated party contributions without limit, but the BCRA held self-financing candidates to the normal limit. Finding that the provision burdened free speech and associational rights, the Supreme Court struck down the provision as well. The combination of Davis and Wisconsin Right to Life leaves the BCRA in serious limbo. For more information, see LII's Backgrounder on the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act Cases. Categories:
